Misc Sept happenings

Here are a few pictures from September. We went camping at our favorite park again and enjoyed a relaxing weekend.
Lucy chilling in a chair at the campsite.

My pretty green toes matched the leaves :)

Me, relaxing at the campsite. Are those wrinkles around my eyes? Surely not!   (eek, I guess 40 is catching up with me)

W at her pre-K field trip (her first one!) milking a 'cow'. She certainly had a fun time, as she always does :)

Isn't this little bugger cute? I found him on the ground as I was riding my bike, when I almost ran over him, he puffed up his 'head' to make it look bigger, and those fake eyes and ears looked huge in an effort to scare me (or a predator) away.  We hoped to watch him form a cocoon and see what kind of butterfly he would be, but I think he froze in our cage overnight, because he died the next morning. In the wild he probably would have found better protection from the evening air than the few leaves we had in his bug box. He certainly was cute though.

T was baptized this month! woohoo!

My beautiful morning glories that only seem to come into full maturity at the end of summer, and of course only bloom in the morning.

W in a 'her size' roller coaster at our town's Fall Festival. She loved this ride and rode it several times, usually with her hands up in the air.   Which was a huge improvement after riding an 'adult' ride with me and screaming at the top of her lungs during the whole ride to "make him stop Mommy! I want to get off! Make him stop nowwwwww!"  Poor thing.

"woohoo, ride 'em cowgirl!" She liked the carousel too :)

Okay comments in order, just as I like them...
1. Lucy is such a doll. I love that girlie-dog!
2. I still can't believe my "conservative friend Rene" wears GREEN NAIL POLISH! I don't even do that...and I'm wild. :o)
3. Wrinkes? WRINKLES? You nerd. Shut up. The only thing around your eyes is SHADE! And you look beautiful and fresh and lovely. (as always)
4.W. is so photogenic. She always turns her head just "so" and smiles perfectly! Who else could be that CUTE milking a plastic fake cow? :)
5. & 6. WHAT? That is a REAL bug? NO WAY! that is the cutest bug I've ever seen (and I'm not a bug lover). Too bad you murdered him! ;)
7. Awww...T. getting baptized! B and G were scheduled to get baptized on Sept 29th, but I was sick and we missed it. Boo.
8. Morning Glories...I love them because they are right beside MY lawn chair. :o)
9. & 10. The fair was fun, huh? A bit costly..but still..good hometown old fashioned fun. Sometimes I love our town!
