I went searching through old photo albums and found them...
the pictures that document the beginning of Dan's 15-year (and counting) love affair with his Challenger.
These are dated 1996, so I guess that's when it started. We were living in Vegas at the time and had a very small 2-car garage, which he proceeded to take over with this project. When he started this grand plan of his (to re-build a 1973 Dodge Challenger into a show piece classic) he actually bought two cars. One which he used the frame for and built upon, and the other to snag a lot of the parts from to replace the parts in the first one. Here in this first picture you can see the dire condition that car was in.

Now for a side by side comparison, to really see some progress. The picture below is the engine compartment in the beginning...
...and the current state of the engine (which by the way is still not finished). Like I said, its an on-going project :)
Hopefully someday I'll be able to post a fully finished project, since we are already 15 years into this project, I can't guarantee when those pictures might come. I'll keep you posted on the process though, because the sooner he finishes the green one, the sooner I'll have a chance of the orange one actually becoming mine :)
