Colorado pictures

This is a snowy picture of me and Marlenes in the middle of the Copper Mtn village. Isn't it cute with the cobblestone walkways? Adorable. Lots of shops and little lunch places. We didn't partake of any of those though, we spent the whole day skiing (aahhhhh). Heaven for me. Not so much for Marlenes who took a break midway through and went and drank hot cocoa to wait for us. Dan and Chris stuck it out though and we continued skiing for the rest of the day. I love to ski!

This is part of the snow fort/castle they were building at Keystone. Pretty neat little venture. They host a Kidtopia festival soon so I think they were building it for that. Its all geared towards kids I guess. Sounds pretty cool. I've never been here for it though. The picture below is a giant adirnak chair that we just had to take advantage of (great photo opportunity!) It was at Copper.

This picture is taken from the Subway parking lot across the stream from the famous Argo Gold Mine. We usually stop here every time we drive through and I always try to snap a photo. Obviously the elevation is much lower than the ski areas (no snow!). This is about 20-30 minutes west of Denver off I-70. When T was younger we've taken her on the gold mine tour here and actually panned for gold, but we didn't do it this time.
This final picture is actually inside of a truck stop on our way home in Limon, CO. This bear was huge so I just had to take a picture! We had such a fun time. I love family vacations! Hope u enjoyed some of our photos :)
