summer crafts

The girls and I have been going to Lowe's on Saturdays this summer to participate in their Build & Grow program. Its been a lot of fun, and very cute watching the girls hammer away and build stuff. They have really enjoyed it and I certainly appreciate a company for offerring this FREE activity for kids! Here are some pictures from our activities.

Next they made the 'ball and cup' games.
Then we went to Lowe's and made a butterfly house.

very cute! (although I just cleaned out my kids toyboxes and threw all our stuff from Lowe's away. Shhh! Don't tell them!) We have ENTIRELY TOO much stuff! I filled an entire trash bag of "trash" from grants toybox and and entire trash bag of "give away" and his toybox is STILL overflowing! That boy owns like 17 nerf guns/bow-n-arrows!!! Sheesh! At least he DOES play with them daily. :o)
