rainy shopping and survivor spoiler

Today is supposed to be my "long run" day to prepare for the half marathon in 2 weeks. But we just came home from breakfast at the mom&pop's place and now my stomach is full and not very conducive to running. Guess I'm going to have to push through. Its raining and storming out too-rainy Saturday. Looks like the races for Dan will be cancelled, so maybe he'll take the girls and I can go shopping by myself (much easier than with 2 little ones in tow). We'll see. I am in a work-out clothes shopping frenzy lately. Looking for good deals on cute outfits. Want to hit JCP, Kohl's, Academy, and Sports Authority if I can. We'll see, maybe I'll just stay home, because the truth is, I really don't NEED any, I just want them. Sometimes we can do without our WANTS. Besides, mainly I was just looking for a pair of shorts to match a new pink top I got, but truth is, it looks good with black&white shorts too, and I already own those, so I guess reality is I don't need to go out in this rain and go shopping. Can you tell I'm talking myself out of this? :)
Been eating sensibly, but not depriving. Feeling good about health right now. Still at 145, but just taking it one day at a time. Not logging my food intake anymore, but still burning about 700-1200 calories 6 days a week with exercise. Don't know if this new plan will work-we'll give it a try. The girls are supposed to be cleaning their rooms and the playroom today-HA! we'll see how that goes.
Can't believe the Survivor episode this week. I didn't want Sierra to win, and quite frankly I was tired of watching her get her feelings hurt all the time(just too painful to watch), but I think some other players should have been eliminated just to make sure they don't get any more strength and cause a coup. Coach drives me insane. He is so stuck on himself. What a loser. And how can he say at tribal council that Sierra was betraying her best friends (Debbie&Coach) THEY both wrote Sierra's name down last week-some best friends they are! He is a serious loser. I can't believe he won immunity(its the first time he's done anything right in ANY of the challenges)and then he acts likes he's the king for winning it ("dragon slayer my foot!"). It's nice though that they aired the proof of what a snake he is -hopefully this will all come out before the end so he doesn't fool anyone else.
We'll I guess I've stalled enough, I really need to get on that treadmill and start this long run. see ya!

Yay for you for deciphering between wants and needs. I have to re-evalute my needs vs. wants ALL the time (especially when I see a good sale!!)
Isn't it funny how we LOVE to buy work out clothes? ha ha ha I probably spend at least 50% of the money I use for clothes for me on gym clothes. Vain as it is...working out in a cute outfit is so much more motivating than working out in a pair of old shorts and a too-big, sloppy t-shirt. See you in a bit chicky!

Wow Rene. I'd never guess you weigh 145. Are you just really tall? Because you look SUPER SKINNY in all of these pictures!
